Lee Thomas Just found this album by accident. Unfortunately l could not attend this event but this is a superb recording. Tubular Tribute and Robert Reed play Mike's music with such passion and precision. I was lucky enough to attend the following years Tubular Bells 50th anniversary at Newbury Arlington Arts Centre, 2023. I hope some equally excellent quality recordings are released from that weekend too. A fantastic addition to any fans of Mike Oldfield / Robert Reed and Tubular Tribute's collection.

Proceeds going to charity, so this is no rip-off, but musicians paying tribute, playing music they love to an audience that loves to listen to exactly that ;-) Favorite track: Ommadawn Part 1.

Keith Carr Great stuff, loads of energy, played with passion. bass playing on Ommadawn Part 1 was particularly superb.

This is the most beautiful symphonic progressive music I have heard since I first heard Yes' Magnification nearly 20 years ago. Robert Reed's orchestrations are magnificent, and are very much on par with Trevor Rabin's film scores as well as Larry Groupe's score for Magnification. I am a french horn player, and his soaring horn parts are some of the best I have ever heard. For some reason I could not select Part1: Sacrifice as my favorite track. It is indeed my favorite. luckeydoug1

This is one of the best interpretations I've heard of Genesis music, Pete would have made an excellent replacement vocalist for the band itself, he has a lovely feel for the songs, and a perfect voice for the material Colman Jones

An amazing reinterpretations of old Genesis classics. Even "Invisible touch", in my opinion one of the worst songs by Genesis, in this album is a little gem. You can almost imagine Steve Hackett on classical guitar. mario1984
