nickgreen90125 When I discovered who Robert Reed was, and what he was doing, and how well he was doing it... well, it was like discovering the second layer in the box of chocolates you thought was long since empty. It's not Mike Oldfield, yet it sort of is... It's inspired but not derivative, new yet faithful. Reed recognises that Oldfield innovated not just a style but a distinct genre, and is now expanding that genre. And his guitar vibrato sounds like the man himself. Thank you, Robert, for doing these!

If 'Tubular Bells' was a lament, 'Sanctuary' is the other side of the same coin. It responds to Mike Oldfield's classic in a similar vein - but with freedom and joy. There is a sense of celebration in this music. Thank you, Robert Reed.

It's like listening to the maestro himself. The best of Tubular Bells, Hergest Ridge, Ommadawn, Incantations and Platinum combined.

Nowhere it sounds like a rippoff or cheap but as an honest hommage.

Highly recommended. Favorite track: Sanctuary I Part 1.
