Acritarche This is a very interesting clone of Mike Oldfield. It provides a good follow up to Ommadawn for the 40th anniversary of that gigantic album Favorite track: Sanctuary II Part One.

Favorite track: Sanctuary II Part One.

Carsten Pieper Robert Reed continues his mission as Mike Oldfield 2.0, not to rip-off but out of deep, heart-felt respect for the early to middle instrumental longpieces that the real Mike O. gave to us. While Sanctuary (I) caught the spirit of the first albums (Tubular Dawn, you name them), I have the impression that the Talented Mr. Reed also was aiming at later works (Platinum, Five Miles Out and so on).
If you're into surround, make sure to get the physical version of this which again is a real treat! Favorite track: Sanctuary (Excerpt) Promo 2.
