LordMarthy There's many different music styles, pop, reggae, rock... and Mike Oldfield is a style by its own. And the only guy who plays that style (among others) so perfectly is Rob Reed ! Favorite track: Sanctuary II Part One.

Mssr Renard A more synthdriven hommage to Mike Oldfield and musically much busier than Sanctuary I. On top of that there are drumparts (Simon Philips!!!), wich makes Sanctuary more Platinum-sounding, but also Crises/Discovery without the hitsingles.

Reed establishes himself as a musician/composer of his own. Not a cheap-rip-off, but an truly inspired musician playing in the style that made Symphonic Rock huge in the 70ies. Favorite track: Sanctuary II Part One.

simoncslator Mike Oldfield could have made an album similar to (but not exactly) this back in '83 - there's a bit more of Reed's own voice in this which I think spices it up quite a bit. Scarily, I find myself preferring Sanctuary II over what Mike actually released back in '83. Favorite track: Sanctuary II Part One.
